Think tank work

I led the animal welfare project at the Norwegian policy think-tank Langsikt. 

• Together with Sigrid Bratlie, I wrote the policy note Gene technology for better fish welfare

  • The note is also available in Norwegian .

• Together with Aksel Sterri, I wrote the report Beneath the Surface: The Animal Welfare Crisis in Norwegian Fish Farming Industry.  

  • The report is also available in Norwegian and has been featured in Norway's biggest newspaper. 

  • Aksel and I also submitted a consultation response to a government white paper on aquaculture in Norway; you can find it here.  

• Beyond my work as an advisor on animal welfare, I have also been volunteering for Langsikt since its inception. 

During my MA, I was a trainee at the Norwegian policy think-tank Civita. 

• Here, I wrote a report on the illiberal turn of Orbán's government in Hungary, and how that relates to Norway as a member of the EEA.
